In the summertime, it is imperative your dog is treated with a flea/tick preventative before arriving, as we are surrounded by fields of tall grasses. We recommend a single treatment that lasts for three months: Bravecto
Bordetella*Bordetella is required annually, as a general rule. Due to an increase in Parainfluenza virus in the area, we are now requiring a Bordetella vaccination every 6 months. This vaccination must be given a minimum of 48 hours prior to your dog's stay. - Please note that if your dog is displaying signs of Kennel Cough ahead of your stay, we will not be able to take them until they are symptom free for at least 10 days. Due to risk of spreading to our other guests, we will kindly ask you to keep them home. If we notice symptoms consistent with Kennel Cough, we will again kindly ask for you or your emergency contact of choice to come pick up your pup immediately. |
Stool sample screening (Fecal Floatation test)Because our dogs play together closely and share multiple spaces, we want to ensure a clean, parasite-free environment. For this reason, we require proof that your dog has had a negative fecal flotation test (or equivalent, determined by your veterinarian) performed in the last 6 months. This requires dropping off a fresh stool sample to your veterinarian and typically has a 12-24 hour turn around time. This must be completed prior to your dog's stay. We cannot accept your pup until we receive a negative test result, so please plan your vet appointments at least several days prior to your reservation start date. Learn more about parasites here. INTACT PUPS:
We do accept intact males and females for boarding only. (Puppies under one year can be booked as Classic Social Boarding while pups over one year will be booked as Intact Over 1 Year Boarding)
We do not accept females actively in heat! No exceptions.
Should your intact female pup go into heat while in our care, you will kindly be asked to pick them up immediately, whether it is you or your emergency contact. If there is no one to pick up your pup, they will be transported to Spearfish Animal Hospital for the remainder of their stay.
Intact dogs will be allowed in playgroups on a case by case basis.
- We do not accept intact pups that are over 1 year old for Daycare.

Payment:
Due to the nature of our business, we accept cards, checks or EXACT cash only. We do not keep change on hand. If you would like an estimate, register and request reservation dates. You will then have an option to generate an estimate that will break down your services and charges! Payment is expected in full upon pick-up of your pet.
